A Visit From Santa Claus and Friends

One of the nice things about living within town limits is that there are always special events during the holiday season. We can drive or walk to parades, shows, special shopping nights, the tree lighting and other fun activities. A favorite annual tradition is the arrival of Santa Claus via fire truck. You can hear him all over the area, as the siren wails and the horn honks, letting folks know he is in their neighborhood. This nightly visit takes place for four days, and Jamison loved tracking Santa's progress on the computer as he made his way to our neighborhood. We all went down to the corner as he approached - even Sullivan our dog was excited to see the man in red! As the truck drove by, we waved at Santa, Frosty, Rudolph and the firemen. The little ones loved it! (us big ones enjoyed it too!). Here's a picture of all the excitement:
